Linen Rentals

Linen Rentals

I went to a florist today, Atlas Floral, and told them that I want to do long tables. They told me that I need to rent linens.

This kind of makes sense, because the tables are a different shape than the ones the RH has, and so I would have to rent linens because the tables need to be 'draped.'

But the more I pressed, I felt like the linen rental was something they are really pushing. Does it really change the space that much? I have been to dozens of weddings and barely remember the linens.

Anybody have any experience with this?

Get a price on the linens from you florist. My guess is they will have to rent them and then charge you more to cover the cost and make a profit. So I would call a few rental companies to get prices to compare.

Try Taylor Rental in Port Jefferson and Party Rental Ltd. Just google them for the numbers.

There's also Classic Party Rental in the city, A to Z Party rental in Plainview.

i am having linens, i personally feel like it dresses up the space more and really ties your wedding colors together (if your doing your linens along that theme).... did you see if your RH offers them also? mine does, a little pricey but wouldnt let me rent from anywhere else so i got stuck

I agree with this. I opted for the regular tablecloths provided by the reception hall/caterer. I spent more money on the centerpieces.
