Linens and Flowers in a Wedding Dream

I put this in a poll because I had my first wedding dream (not nightmare) and it actually helped me sort out some things. I dreamed that I was sitting with my BM and going over linens for the reception. How crazy is that? Anyway here is what I'm thinking.

The girls dresses will probably be dark green (like a hunter green color). OR the maid and matron of honor will wear the dark green and the rest of the BMs will wear a lighter shade of green.

Now onto the linens and flowers:

Option 1) Dark green sashes and napkins over ivory or white chair covers with bright yellow (and possible) orange flowers. (I saw yellow cala lilies with an orange tip = gorgeous)

Option 2) Champagne / Gold (can't describe this color) sashes and napkins over ivory or white chair covers with mostly white or pale yellow flowers and lots of greenery.

being that your wedding is almost june i voted for the champagne/gold linens and greenery flowers.... i think greek linens would look nice but might make it looks to dark for that time of year

champagne and gold is very elegant. remember you have to think of the big picture. Green linens IMO will be way too dark

That's very true. My wedding will be entirely during the day in a large room with lots of light. I've seen the burgundy done and it looks great. But,you may be right, the green may be too dark. Hmm....

i actually chose the green. i think it will look more uniform with the bm dresses plus it will add some color. sure your wedding is in june but who cares, its your wedding..use what color you want.
i think the champagne and ivory is just too blah...need anotherf color in there to spice up the look

i like both.. the gold and champagne is very classy.. but i also think the greens would look great with your color scheme.


id try and see if you can get sample tables set up or something to really see what they look like.

they are both beautiful though!
