did anyone else hear that they are going into bankruptcy? I must be the kiss of death b/c I was registered there & Fortunoffs and they are both having trouble

I had heard some rumblings about that. Did you call them to ask what is going on and what they plan to do with their registries? My best bet is to have a backup, ie Bed, Bath and Beyond! HTH!! Good luck!!!

I've read in the paper that they are having problems and not paying their vendors, so they are not getting in new shipments any more. You may want to move that registry to BBB.

This is all so depressing. All these stores are going under, people losing their jobs, us losing our registries - I blame it all on the cost of fuel and obviously the economy

I can't move my registry from LNT. My shower invites have already gone out and it's next month. I just moved most of my things over to Macy's.

The last I heard they are working with a company to see if they need to file chapter 11.

I just called and they did not say whether they we going backrupt but they did say that there was nothing to worry about and new items were being stocked everyday.
