Has anyone tried on the Le Mystere bustier? I tried it at Bra Smyth and liked it but wasn't completely sure and thought it was expensive for being so simple. Has anyone found anything similar? Or do you have other ideas?
I'm sorry I didn't try on either of those. I have a corselette by Wonderbra and Domonique. I am trying to decide which one to use (my dress is backless w/ spaghetti straps). Try going to a lingerie store like Mary Lerner, Orchard Corsets or Miriam's they might be able to help you.
I wore the Le Mysterie at my wedding. I loved it! I love that it is shorted in the hip area and longer in the front! It is simple but it works the best! I've worn another one for years (I can't remember which one) but it was always uncomfortable and I always had marks on my body after I took it off. This one was worth the money, in my opinion anyway. I got mine at Bra Smyth too! I liked them because they did minor alterations for me for free and it was great! Even my seamstress commented on how great a bra it was! I figure it's worth $110 because I will wear it forever with every other strapless dress I have.
