Life is anything but easy for Grammy-winning superstar Lionel Richie these days. The singer has been slapped with a divorce demand for at least $300,000 per month.
In the legal papers, Diane Richie, Lionel’s companion for nearly 20 years, details her extravagant needs. These include: $15,000 a month for clothing, shoes and accessories, $3,000 a month for dermatology, $1,000 for laser hair removal and $5,000 for jewelry.
The 37-year-old former dancer also spends $20,000 per year on plastic surgery.
But all of these numbers are conservative estimates. The couple’s 18,000-square-foot home is believed to be worth more than $40 million. And even though the pair is in a big bucks battle, they both still live at the house.
