I live in a small condo, and I am hardly home. Yet my LIPA bill was just 125$ is this right????? I am not leaving anything on while I am at work. Help ladies, what is your lipa bill roughly each month?

Christy, I have a condo too (townhouse). Do you have electric heat? If so, your bill may be higher than you expect/are used to. However, you aren't paying an oil bill too.

I live in a tiny house and our bill went up to $115 this month. We are rarely home and can't figure this out either. The beginning of this year it was 60.00. My MIL lives 5 minutes from us in a 2 story rather big house and her bill is cheeper than ours. Its so frustrating.

i had the same problem and i called lipa about it. they said that most of the bills are just estimates of the power you use, so sometimes you have to 'catch' up when they do an actually reading. thats why our bill was so high last month.

ahhh christy - welcome to my world!!!! our LIPA bill last month was for $238 and that's on the balanced budget!!! i can't believe it!!!! part of our increase is DH, but the rest is just a price hike. it's insane!!!! we do have electric heat, so it's only going to get worse!!
