Re: LIPA
Fh thinks its based on the entire building's usage which isn't fair, we have our own meeting for our apartment, everyone does.

Re: LIPA
If you have your own meter it can't be based on everyone in the building's usage.

thats what i said. we're gonna call and investigate, because i just read this:
But do you see where is says $720-something? Those are her PREVIOUS month's charges... Her current month is $190-something. Her bill was that high because she hasn't paid it in about 4 months.

Re: LIPA
We have a condo and our bill was $131 this month. DH says it's because we were away on our honeymoon. The bill before that was $251.

Re: LIPA
meter reading was taken 7/12/2010, previous reading was done 6/11/2010. just seems to be too much for a month.

Re: LIPA
Mine was normal - we have balanced billing so I know it would be a certain amount. When I checked the balance, LIPA still owes us money , this time last year we owed them money.
We barely used the ac this year - even on the hottest days. It sounds like something is a little off though on your bill - def call

Re: LIPA
our typical bill is 100ish for 6 weeks but for july and august it almost doubles. Happened to us last year too. So yours is slightly higher than ours
