Re: Lipo
Hey there!!! Yes my girlfriend did it about 5 years ago on her thighs and stomach. She looks great, but she has hard spots on the areas they went through. the skin is hard like a flat piece of wood is in the skin. but she said there are different ways now where you are awake and they numb the areas and that its safer. I would do it if we werent TTC!! but DH is sooooo afraid of something going wrong too. So off to the gym I go

I know someone who had it. Looks great but you need to work at it after you've had it done.

Re: Lipo
my cousin did it....but the dumb doctor who did it was supposed to take out the extra skin...and he didn't. He told my cousin that she was under too long so he had to stop...and to come back to get the skinned removed...she asked if she would be charged more for the skin removal...and he said yes for the anestesia and the staff....dumb

WOW! How much do they take out and are the scars really bad? I saw one thing on the news were the woman looked deformed and it's scared me. I was thinking about it as a last resort.

Yes, i know someone who's had it - and she said to me that its not the 'cure all' that everyone wants it to be. Its painful, and depending on how much you have removed and where, can take a while to recooperate. Remember, this is major surgery and not like a trip to the dentist.
Also, when she gained any weight back, she gained it in areas that she'd never had problems with before!
If you're considering it, you should definitely talk to other people who've had it done and not just the testimony you see in dr's offices. There are many people who are happy with it of course, just make sure you do research!
