Do you guys know of a product that you'd put on over your lipstick to seal it? I'd hate to leave lipstick all over my husband at the alter.. or all over the 200 guests I'm sure I will be kissing throughout the night!

Christine--my name is Amanda and I am a make-up artist. I do a lot of bridal parties and to be honest there are products out there that will prevent the lipstick from coming off for a little while but then it starts to crack of your lip and feel gummy after a couple of hours and looks unbecoming to say the least. Try a lipstick and put face powder lightly over it and then reapply. Did you get a make-up artist yet?

Another solution to do is to get your lipliner to match your lipstick and then draw in the lipliner all over the lip and then put the lipstick on. The bottom line is to be very careful with your dress. You don't want to get dressed and look down to see lipstick on the front of it--it's happened many a time. So who cares if you get lipstick on your guests--they'll be getting more on you--trust me!! I just got married in March.

What about lipink.com. I bought it over the web and received within a few days. It's pretty good. Max Factor has another one like it and it's in your local stores and doesn't cost that much. The lip ink is $15.00, also Clinique has one called Superlast Lipstick. That's a regular lipstick which seems to stay long. Give them a try.

Christine... The best thing to do is exfoliate your lips two days prior and keep them moist until the wedding with vaseline... The day of the wedding apply a light concealer arnd the line of your lips, then lipliner on your whole lip, then lipstick, then place a tissue over your lips and dust on powder...
