I am still searching for the perfect shade of lipstick. What color did you use for your wedding, or what is your favorite color?
I am searching with no luck.....and I only have 4 days!

Have you done any makeup trials yet? Your makeup artist should be able to help you determine the best shade, based on your complexion and the other shades being used.

I have brown hair and brown eyes, my skin is pretty pale. I am trying to find something that really looks like it belongs on me...and will look great in pictures!

my makeup artist did not have any shades that worked for me...they were too much or too little. They did not look fresh....sort of washed me out, and she said that most brides bring their own.

Have you gone to any make up counters at department stores? It might help to have someone point you in the right direction.

Where abouts do you live??? I have been doing makeup for years and recently stopped because I am now a teacher but I work at CVS for the summer. (West Islip) I will help you if I can

I would recm'd going to a makeup counter and having them pick something out for you.
Otherwise, you can post a picture of yourself here, and that'll give us a better idea.

I went to the counters yesterday, and because of the lighting, I found it tough to really tell. once I was outside the colors were too strong.
I was really hoping that someone on here would be able to rave about their facorite color, because I am heading back to Bloomingdales in a while and WILL not leave until I have found something that works....I was just hoping for some inspiration!

i went there the day before my wedding and they found something for me. i'm asian and the last thing i want to look like is an asian doll (pale face with bright lipstick). lucky they found everything (foundation/powder/lipstick/liner) for my day that's natural-lookingand also i can wear it afterward.
