L.I.~Queens Brides

Hey girls! I would like some venue suggestions for a bridal shower, I plan on scouting some out soon (I am a MOH). Those of you that have already had yours, if you loved it, please share some info with me.

I'm not a Queens Bride, but I've heard good things about Villa Russo in Queens

My FSIL had hers August 2008 at Union Park Cafe in Oceanside on Long Beach Road. It was a brunch outdoors under a tent and it was perfect!!!

In Queens, ideally, it would be Astoria, Jackson Heights (maybe LIC) area...but I know those areas don't have nice, traditional spaces/halls, so that is why I am very open to L.I. that does.

Mine was held at the Irish Center of NY in LIC. It was ideal for my shower because I didn't want it at a restaurant and my mom wanted to be able to bring her own liquor/food. So this place she could. It was a great place!

Giardino's in Douglaston.

Giardino's in Douglaston is nice. I know they have rooms on the smaller side if you're not having a large amount of people for the shower.

Roma View is in Howard Beach, been there for a few showers and christenings. It was very nice, not sure how many people it holds. I think there are at least two different room options.

Mine was at Simply Fondue in Great Neck but there's also one in Glendale at Atlas Park. It was very unique and the food was delicious if you like that kind of thing.

My cousin had his wedding at Villa Russo. The place was very nice and the service was good. Only thing that that a lot of guests did not realize there was valet parking cause it is across the street.
