Silly question.. If you live in Levittown, where do you catch the LIRR from? I used to live in Hicksville, and I know that is Town of Oyster Bay, and can park in the Hicksville train lot. I don't think Levittown is?
Were looking at this area, just wondering about it? Thanks!!

youy could either go to hicksville station but because levittown is in the town of hempstead im not sure if you can park there. my sister use to use wantagh its town of hempstead and she didnt have a problem and depending on what part of levittown you are in wantagh can actually be closer to you

a friend of mine just moved there - she got a parking permti for wantagh - cost her i think 5 bukcs and takes the train from there!

I pay to park at Hicksville b/c I find there are more trains/options from Penn to Hicksville at night or I park at the Bway mall for free.
ETS: I also live closer to the Hicksville station than to Wantagh.

It depends on where in Levittown you live, I'm on the South side of Levittown and makes more sense for me to go to Wantagh (WHERE THE PARKING SUCKS), but I travel a bit further east to Seaford, the parking lot is huge, I do not pay for parking, they have a huge free parking lot.

Thanks! Was just curious how you commuted from there - its good to know there are some options if we move there :)
I took the train from hicksville and parked at the Bway Mall once, and when I came home there was a notice on my car telling me not to park there for the LIRR anymore. but this was in the middle of the day, so i'm sure some security guy must have seen me

I used to live in Levittown and took the train from Bellmore. If you live close to the Wantagh Pkwy it is so easy and quick to get there

Hey Pickle!! I think my friend used to take a bus to Hicksville - she didn't have a license - but she also lived more on the North side near where my dad is. I always take it from Hicksville on those random occasions I go in, and I usually take a taxi so that doesn't help. I didn't know you were looking in that area!

Hey oneday! we're looking at anywhere we can afford :) hopefully in Nassau, but hey, who knows where we'll end up :)
