LIRR massapequa park station*UPDATED with new question*** lol

Ok today after work i have to take the LIRR straight to massapequa park for a rehearsal dinner. Thing is that when i get there they might still be at the church or maybe even at the restaurant already, so i said ill just take a cab to the restaurant...Now are there cabs usually at the station bc LI isnt the easiest place to find a cab lol and i dont want to sit at the station forever, if not should i call one?

I have never taken the train into Amityville, but I think its only about a block up from the train station down broadway.

OH so i might be able to just walk...yeah when i get off ill start asking ppl how far vittorios is, im one of those ppl who has no problem asking for directions, ill stop extra ppl just to make sure lol...thank you

Let us know how it is, FH keeps saying we should try it b/c we live so close. It looks like a nice place from outside.

yeah i did that, but all i get is john street for the address of the lirr and when i put it in i get 10 other options

no- its not harlem sketchy at all. There are a lot of cute little shops around the further south you go towards Vitorios. Its worse further up north on broadway/route 110.

I wouldnt hang out on a st corner there at night, but i wouldnt do that anywhere- haha

OK change of plans hahaha, i asked Fh what time he was getting to the restaurant and he said 7:15 so i was like uhmmmm i guess ill take a later train then bc i would get there at 6:05, so he said he has to be at the church at 6:30 so since ill be there at 6:05 he'll pick me up from the massapequa park station and we'll go to the church together, its st. rose of lima or st. something of Lima, i think i got the name right lol

its a gorgeous church, i made it in time for that. Its funny bc FH called me and said are you passing by the massapequa station and i said yeah, he happened to be on the sunrise highway at the same time as my train so he got to MP station when i got there.

The rehearsal was very nice, i liked vittorio's. Its a nice cozy place, the food was very good
