debbus.....

It went very well. We were there for almost an hour picking out the food. I'm still undecided about whether or not to pay for a cake that I like better than the free ones. I got to see my room since it's been re-done. I love it! I can't wait.....5 weeks from Saturday! Thanks for asking! Lisa

LisaD...

My wedding there isn't untill September 27th. What is the question about the cake? Is it just about the design? Did you make any special requests, if so, what and how did they respond? Did you pick linens at the same time? Were there a lot to choose from? I can't wait to get to all the details!! You must be ready to bust!!! Please post after the wedding and let me know how everything was. P.S Who are you using for Photo & DJ? I'm sitll having trouble deciding! Good luck!!

debbus....(long sorrry)

the Watermill gives you a choice of 7 cakes. 4 are free and 3 cost $250. It's just the design, not the inside filling. We didn't make many special requests. One was that there would be no tip jars on the bar. We don't want people to feel obligated to tip. We're paying 18% gratuity. That should be enough. They said there wouldn't be any tip jars. Yes, we picked our linens. I didn't look at them though. My girls are wearing black, so I would have went with any color. He said that the room looks best with ivory, so we went with that. My DJ is Danny from In The Mix. I have seen him at 2 previous weddings, he's great. My photograher is Steve from Patken. I have heard a lot of great things about him and we're very excited to be using them! Lisa
