Lisa D,LittleP, Bride to be,& all... help with pregnant BM
I did a search and found that you all have this situation. Where have you found dresses! Did you have regular dresses altered? Bride to be... Did Angel bridals make a dress for your MOH? I am getting my dress from them. Any help you guys can offer will be greatly appreciated! Have to order soon, wedding september 27! Thanks!!

Pregnant BM-Long
Hi, My BM is due the week after our wedding-LOL!! All of my girls ordered dresses from a catalog, but we didn't know what to do for her because she was going to be so near the end. We shopped around and would you believe found a dress-same length & exact color-different style for her to wear that day. She is very excited; we're just trying to find her a little lacy coverup kind of thing to match because the dress is sleeveless and the others have short sleeves. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Best of luck!!

Pregnant MOH....
We actually got our bridesmaid dresses from BayShore Bridal Suite (I got my dress at Angel's). We got the biggest size and then they are altering it a little bigger. The dress we went with made it easier too because they could lift the shirt to hem it instead of hemming the bottom, then the stomache had more room. Here is a picture of the dresses: http://www.morileeinc.com/catalog/M2001S33pix1.html Hope this helps, :)

How long did it take to get your dress from Angels? (I ordered mine in March) How did the alterations turn out? Why didn't you get the dresses for the girls there? Sorry so many questions. I'm doing all the palnning by myself so I need all the help I can get! Thanks! Deb

Another (very) pregnant MOH....
My sister will be 8 months pregnant at our wedding. She has the same dress as the rest of the girls, but they (Flowerama- don't use them though!) are adding panels. Her first fitting is Apirl 5th (our wedding is April 20th). I'll let you know how it goes. Lisa

Pregnant BM
I had a BM who was 7 months pg at my wedding. We had originally picked out an A-line style gown. At her first fitting, they would not measure her, instead, they asked her what size she thought she would be in at the time -- which was easier for her since this was her second. In the end, they only did a first fitting for her 3 weeks before the wedding. Turns out the whole dress had to be altered to work around her. They turned the A-line into an Empire waist for her which actually worked out perfectly. She looked gorgeous and no one could tell her dress was any different from the other girls. The work from Bridal Reflections in Massapequa was good, but the attitude was disgusting. My advice is to go to any good bridal store - they will know how to handle it, they do it all the time. Good luck.

Bride to be...
I actually ordered the bridesmaids dresses first then found Angel's and just loved them. I ordered mine from there because they helped me so much and it was a little more personal. I definitely would have gotten their dresses from them too if I would have known ahead of time. My dress came in, in about 2 to 3 weeks. They had said it would be a few months but it was sooner. I have only had 1 fitting so far and I go back on April 2nd for the next one. They usaully do them earlier than 3 weeks before the wedding but I thought I could lose some weight (didn't happen) before now. If I can help you with anything just let me know. Good luck

Response from LittleP.......long
Debbus, don`t worry! Both of my pregnant MOHs were able to order the regular b-maids dress. I went through Bridal Suite of Bayshore and they said it would be no problem. They just order a few sizes bigger and insert panels where need be. One of my MOHs will be almost 7 mths (& she`s carrying twins!) and the other one is due 1 week after my wedding. I told them both that they didn`t have to order the b-maids dress I picked out, and that they could wear whatever they liked so long as they were comfortable. They both insisted on ordering the same b-maids dress! Fortunately they both tried it on, and they both felt very comfortable in it! They said it would be more stressful to find a dress on their own! So anyway, a good bridal shop should be able to alter the dresses properly! Good luck!Welcome New Vendors
