its off of 110 near the walt whitman mall.

If you are on a budget- it would be good idea to go see them. And they charge by quntity, not by flower type. So you can get some of the more expensive flowers if you want them but don't have the dough!

eek that's a pretty far trek for me, I live in queens.

I'll keep them in mind though as a last resort. Thanks girls

I plan to go check them out too!!

I'm going to see Stefan's too as well as Flowers Michele. I already went to Flowers By Brian (they are one of Russo's house vendors as is Stephan's).

I always thought that Stefan's was a bit pricey? I just am guessing that by from what I heard.

Did anyone else use Flowers By Brian though?

My FH's friend is using Flowers Michele so we're going to check them out.

I highly recommend Verbena Designs - you can do a search for reviews on here.

I met with Jennifer on Wednesday and she was a doll and worked on our quote until it fit our budget!

Also, Flower Michelle, Designs by Rose.

If you do a search for JackandRose, you'll see a lot of disatisfied prior brides.

i plan on meeting with around 6 BUT that's only cause it's my last major vendor and I feel like I have the time to play around and search for someone who gets the ideas that are in my head but have yet to be found in any magazine I've looked at.

I'd say average is maybe around 3-4?

They gave me a quote of $2,400.00 for the following:

1 Chuppa ($850.00) - minimal flowers on it
2 BM bouquets
my bouquet ($150.00
1 MOH bouquet
12 centerpieces ($75 per centerpiece)
runner (no cost)
pedestals (to use during ceremony- we're having it all in one spot) - ($180.00)
6 butonierres (excuse my spelling) - no cost
2 corsages- no cost
1 dais centerpiece- no cost
1 flower girl basket/petals/small bouquet

I didn't think this was too bad but I think we can do a bit better - I'm still checking out Flower Michele and Stefans still.
Also I put approximate prices when I can recall what they were offhand (I'm at work atm) but I recall what he was throwing in for free. I do have to say they were very courteous (I went to their Howard Beach store since it was closest to Russo's) and helpful. I don't need cocktail hour flowers - those are done by the in house florist from Russo's
