List of Reception Hallsat Glance w/ prices?

Original post by Tatum&Steve

Hey all - just getting started here - first time here and first post. I have heard of this site tons of times and finally happy to be here! Got engaged 3/25 in Bahamas on a dolphin swim. The actual 'Flipper' brought me the ring! Lucky girl I am.

Anyway quick question, want to start looking at reception halls, I know they are all listed here, but is there a list that has a general note of their prices, I don't want to fall in love with pictures of it and waste my time going there if it is totally out of my price range. Any suggestions? THANKS

Thanks all - well I am looking at the end of next year - well end of wedding season anyway (September, October).

Do you have to make appointments to go check places out or can you just show up.

Do you think places will be open on Mother's Day (Next Sunday)

Sept/Oct is not the end of wedding season. October is the second most popular month for weddings.

I highly recommend making appointments and not just showing up. That way you can ask questions on the phone and make sure there isn't a wedding going on when you get there so you can actually see the room.

Yes, everywhere should be open on Mother's Day.

Congratulations! Well you look like you like the water from you picture so I think a great place is lands end in sayville. That's where I'm getting married in august. I chose a day wedding because it's cheaper and it's 120/person for 200 people. It might be even cheaper since you're looking at sept and oct. It's beautiful and I've heard so many wonderful things about it.

Good Luck
