I am now in the middle of trying to choose a florist for our wedding and I could use some helpful info. Can you please list the following:
1. Vendor's name; 2. If you will have high or low centerpieces and how many you need for your reception; 3. What your budget restrictions were (if any); and laslty 4. Your experience with the vendor.
This would be such a great help ladies. TIA.

I used Burton's....I had 13 low centerpieces, 2 topiaries (sp), a bridal bo-q, MOH bo-q, 4 BM's bo-q and 9 boutineers. Also 3 corsages for my mom, grandma and MIL
The price was unbeatable and I LOVED my flowers

she was one of my absolute FAVORITE vendors to work with!! She is so sweet and has such a passion for what she does! I didnt do CPs, so i cant give you that info, but her bo-ks were beautiful! There are pics in my review...

We are using her also! I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She is lovely and really does love her job therefore making it such a pleasure to work with her. She's not 'all about business'.
We will have about 9 low centerpieces in large cylindrical vases with crackled votives on the tables and she was very reasonable.

I'm using Flower Michele. I love John and he worked within our budget. We are getting 4 different style centerpieces (18-20 total) including some high, some low, some all candles, and some in varying heights in cylindrical vases. We are also getting bridal bo-k, 8BM bo-ks, bouts, corsages, etc.

Joseph ia an amazing guy - so great to work with - has such good 'vision' and is just overall fun to be around.

Used Laurie from La Blossom and would recommend her to anyone!! She was one of my favorite vendors that went above and beyond!!!
Again, their price was unbeatable and the flowers are gorgeous!!

Almost all 14 florists gave me the same general price quote (Flower Michele was waaay higher than everyone else, and Nat'l Floral Wholesale was lower than the rest). Even though I spend more than budgeted I figured since I was getting the same general price quote for what I was asking for, that was the going rate. Nancy offered me much larger bo-ks, and her personality and love for her craft was overwhelming - so I booked her. Pics of the sample she made for me are in my album.

Signature Florist (Merrick Rd, Bellmore) 14 High CP's 6 bo-k's my bok and toss bok 1 kissing ball 10 bouts 2 corsages unlimited rose petals my budget was $2500 and we hit it on the nose! Yelena is awesome, you'll love her!

i rented a canopy from Nancy... it was metal and she decorated the front a little bit with flowers...

using Pedestals.... loved them from the minute we sat down to chat. they read my mind and were soo creative, using very different flowers than what ive seen (queen anne's lace, vintage hydrangea, etc...! we are getting everything, low tables centerpieces, corsages, bouts, flowers for cake, boqs, for around 2g. its a little pricey i think but after meeting with them i couldnt book anywhere else!
I am using Flower Mitchele. It is for bo-k's, boots, and corsages only.

I'm using Spitz and Peck in Cedurhurst (required florist from my RH) and getting low centerpieces with pillar candels. I told them right away what my budget was and worked within that limit. So far so good... things have been going smoothly
