Listen to what happened to us!!

I got a call from a home improvement store (we won't mention names) and the lady says 'your whirlpool has been here for 10 months when are you picking it up?' (she said this very nasty). I tell her we picked it up it is in our bathroom...she is now yelling and telling me I did not pick this up and she is looking at it in the warehouse! I told her I would double check with DH if he had ordered another one. He says no. I never called her back. She calls me back yelling I need to pick this up or get a refund! I said my DH says we have it already. Very Very Nasty she says it is here you didn't sign for it you need to pick it up or get a refund. (Now my husband is Mr Honest and he told me keep telling her we have it) I told her again...and again and again she said Mam I am sick of arguing with you and I am leaving a Gift Card at the front for the price of the tub.. I call DH and Mr Honest says.....quick go pick it up before they change there mind!!! Welll $936 gift card I feel horrible but I tried and a lot of times....Am I bad?

Nope if they are morons, consider that a gift for having to deal with them.

what if you fax them the receipt you have showing it was paid and picked up ? I would be scared when I go there to pick up they are like never mind it was someones elses and you are just standing there with nothing to say

Wow! Cant believe that! The only thing I would be afraid of is they catch up on the mistake and come back and ask you to repay the gift card.

We already picked it up and bought molding. We just built a new house, so I am thinking it is a 10% discount on all we spent there.

I looked for our receipt and couldn't find it. Nothing new...since we moved I have been so disorganized.

If they catch up with it, don't think they would call back the girl even brought it to the manager to double check and he agreed we never picked it up. She was nasty!!!!!

If this is Home Depot - they are morons!!!

I special ordered a tib apron and it took 6 weeks to get to me, when they told me 1, after several million phone calls and after we picked it up at the shipping company, I got the apron, and they credit me for the amount. Too bad the apron was 200 and the tub itself was 800.
