Listing a deceased parent in the program?

My FFIL passed away in December, I did not incluyde my FILs on the invitation for several reasons, 1 being I didn't know the etiquette for a deceased parent

I have a section in the program for Parents of the Bride and Parents of the Groom...should I put

Kathy and Tom H.
Kathy and the Late Tom H.

OR just

Kathy H?

what about having a section in the program dedicated to deceased relatives? this is what I'm doing on the back of the programs. I think I took it from another LIW girl's programs.

Our thoughts are ever with you, though you
have passed away. And those who loved you
dearly are thinking of you today.

In Loving Memory Of

Bride's Grandmother (inserting their names of course)
Bride's Grandfather
Bride's Aunt
Bride's Grandmother
Groom's Grandmother
Goom's Grandfather

I'm doing that as well, to include my grandfather and grandmother...

But I need to put his mom's name under 'Parent's of the Groom' and I feel like his dad should be there too...?

It is fine on the program to list the deceased parent.

Parents of the Groom :
Mrs. Jane Doe and the late Mr. John Doe
Never list the deceased parent first.

It is not proper to name a deceased parent on the invitation because they cannot be hosts of the party.

i would put kathy h in the parents section. then in a new section list the people who have passed away. i did this and titled the page
'on this day we lovingly remember'

albert F.
Grandfather of the bride

Cecelia C.
Grandmother of the Groomm

My MIL passed away about 8 months before our wedding. On the program, under parents of the groom I listed them as Mr. John XXX & The Late Mary XXX. I felt it looked strange not having her listed under the parents section, especially with her death being so recent.

DH lost his mother years ago so we did not list her.... we did Parents of the Bride and Father of the Groom in the program.

We acknowledged her under the Presentation of Flowers to the Blessed Mother. We put her name there as we did this in her memory... she was also listed FIRST on the names of other people that are grandparents, etc. on the LAST page of the program.

I agree with Susi - this is how I would do it.
