OY... so as everyone is well aware... it's been FREEZING outside lately and I highly doubt things will be different next weekend for the pics. I've decided wearing a dress is not the best idea.
So now I have to put a whole new outfit together. FI has also been saying how he really doesn't want to 'dress up' for the pics and feels we should do a more laid back outfit routine and be more ourselves. I actually agree with him.
So I've decided to do a more fall look and go with the new boots I just bought (pic below), skirt, dark tights and this plaid shirt from AE which I saw online and wanted to buy anyways (pic below).
Question: Should I go with a denim skirt or do girls have another suggestion that would look good with the outfit?
i know its supposed to be in the 60's during the week if that changes ur mind at all... and if the shirt is long enough with those cute boots u could just wear leggings im just not sure what color u would wear though

what about just wearing skinny jeans with the boots? but if its going to be about 60 maybe you can stick with the dress and just put tights underneath with those boots! I really like them btw, where are they from?

I got them at DSW (they are Civico 10 boots).
I will play it by ear. Definitely not wearing jeans though because I hate the way I look in jeans.

I like this outfit better than the dress, I think you'll just be more comfortable. I love the boots, by the way! I went to DSW but behaved myself! LOL! Anyway, I think a nice park of dark jeans tucked into the boots would look cute! Or what about those stretchy black leggings if the shirt is long enough? I'm usually anti-legging but I think it'd look cute with this outfit.

I personally would go with skinny jeans...since i'm not too comfortable in skirts but honestly I think if you really dont' like the way the jeans look then go for the denim skirt. It will totally match with navy blue tights maybe!! good luck!

this shirt is sooooo cute!!! If you go with a skirt, I would def say denim (dark/faded). If you go with skinny jeans, I would recommend (I know you wouldn't think it) but JC Penney! My sister bought me an AWESOME pair of skinny jeans there. They are soooo stretchy and really comfortable. They're my fav jeans bc no matter how fat/gross I'm feeling, they always fit great!
