Hey ladies!!

Are any of you doing Living Music during your reception?

I am thinking Jazz.. either during cocktail hour or during the reception.. what are your thoughts? or what are you all doing?

We are doing live music during the ceremony and during the 30 minute arrival period. I've been to a bunch of weddings with live music during cocktail hour and I think it's awesome but you want a large enough group so that the music is loud enough to not be silenced by all the guests chatting.

We are doing a band and a DJ. I'm still not entirely sure how it will work, but thats the plan as of right now.

I think that's a great idea. I wanted to do Jazz or something like that for the cocktail hour but it was out of our budget. Instead the DJ will have a play list for cocktail hour to get the guest all pumped up for the reception. I say if it's in your package, go for it. It's a nice little touch that guests will remember.
