I am just curious who lives with there FH already? Also for those of you who dont will any of you be moving in together before the wedding? I would love to move in with him now...if we only had a place! I am just hating driving home from his house all the time. Just curious who already has the joy of living with there hubby to be!

We also are waiting until after the wedding to move in together. It was something that we had wanted to do. Only 4 weeks to go!

We had dated and lived in our own apartments for 4 years. We thought we'd have this arrangement until we got married. However, when we found a house and we bought it, it became too much on me to commute back and forth (although it is only a 45-minute drive). So only after we were engaged (2 months after we bought our house), did I move in with him. So I lived with him for about 14 months before we were married. My parents are ultra Catholic and did not really have much objection. It helped us save big time for the wedding as well.

My FH and I have been living together since we got engaged.. about 1 1/2 now.. That was our little deal, since my whole life was going to change.. I moved from LI to NJ! So that meant new job, new house, everything.. We have the house, and I have to say it was the best thing I did... we really got a feel for each others ways, and we are both so comfortable getting married now! We deal with all the issues that come up with a house, work on the budget, and all that other non pretty stuff..
This was important for us because prior to my moving in, we really only saw each other on the weekends.. so we were curiuos as to how a weekend relationship would go when it turns into a full time, everyday, cooking and cleaning, doing laundry relationship..
I must say... it has been better than i ever dreamed!!!!! Good luck to all of you!!!

We've been living together for almost 3 years...first an apartment for 2 years, then got engaged after we bought our first house over a year ago.

I did the NY to NJ thing as well for my now husband-- how do you like NJ? I moved to NJ about 9 months before the wedding and 7 months after we got married we bought a house-- I have adjusted to living in NJ-- and it really isnt that much different for me--- what part of NJ are you in? Laura

Tami...I went through the same thing with my FH! As soon as we got engaged, he started chiropractic school and we had to move upstate NY, about 6 hours from LI. I was under so much stress between starting my career as a teacher, moving away from home for the first time, planning a wedding....the list goes on and on!! We have been living together for almost 2 years now (WOW) and I am SOOO glad we made that choice. I agree with everyone who said that it will be so nice to be married and already be used to living together. The first 4 months or so of living together were terrible and I am so glad that's over with! :) We already feel married, and I guess that might be the only negative...no real 'excitement' after the wedding. But thats ok with me....we have plenty of other things to look forward to!!

We have been living together for 5 years (wow, that went fast!) Have been together for 9 years total. We bought a house last March. Love it!! Can't wait to be living here as husband and wife!

we live together for 1 year & a half now and it'll be 2 1/2 yrs by the time of our wedding. i personally think its a great idea...see how well you get along
