living arrangements after wedding

What are you guys planning on doing? Renting, buying, living with parents/inlaws to save....just curious

We rent an apartment now the rent is pretty good and all but we;re leaving here as soon as we get married and moving into a 2 family with his parents-not forever tho! They said once we have enough money saved for our own house we can buy them out and buy our own. Its the only way we can do it now. A few of my friends are doing that. Us Queens people are heading out to long island!

We live in a co-op and we are selling it and buying a house in2009 also... God willing

right now we live in my parents house but my parents live in florida (they have 2 houses)... but we're moving to florida in an apartment and staying there for at least 3 years (i hope) ... by then we should have enough money for a small house. :)

we both live at home with our parents (gotta love the all-inclusive plan )

We plan on closing on a house a couple months before the wedding! Hopefully we save enough between now and then

I am going to closing on my co-op with in the next few weeks ... what a night mare I cant wait till it's out of my freakin hair!!!!
However we live together for 1&1/2 years but I didn't want to sell it untill I knew he was really serious about living together ...but it took almost a year because I was in contract 3 times... the stupid board are A S S H O L E S !! We live in a 2 family house with his parents(which can be a lil annoying sometimes and very helpful at other times ...) untill we can get a house of our own.

We currently rent a house. A few months ago we started looking at houses and went so far as to get pre-approved for the mortgage and everything. But, decided that with the wedding we would hold off since we are paying for it ourselves. So, our new plan is right after the wedding we will start the house search again.

Yay come out to LI.........We would like to buy a house sometime inthe future whether it is before or after the wedding i dnot know

we currrently rent a townhouse in coram..they are really nice and its the same price as a garden apartment but we have two floor 2 bR, 2 baths, and our own washer dryer........it's anice set up!

Well, right now we both live with our parents but the summer before we get married we are going to get an apartment. Hopefully we can buy a house soon after.

DINA congrats on the new home!! Thats wonderful sweetie!!!

Me and FH own a condo, its actually pretty big and we have a nice little yard, but we both want to be in either a single family home or a town house by the wedding. FH says he does not want to walk back into the condo after our Honeymoon.

We will keep the condo and rent it out though

we are renting an apt now together and HOPEFULLY soon after the wedding we'll have enough money to buy a house.... somewhere, anywhere i just want to go out of the apt we are in now.....

Hopefully, we will have an apt in Long Beach before the end of the summer, since FH lease on his current apt is up in Oct.

We need to stay somewhat close to the city because Fh works there!
