Two big things that kill me: 1) people in my building who burn everything when they cook. The smoke either causes the entire floor to reek or it sets of the fire alarm (not a big deal but when you have to run down 21 flights of stairs, it's not fun).
2) a family moved onto my floor and have a child who is about 2/3. Every single Saturday and Sunday morning, their child is screaming in front of our door at 7 am. O M G - all of you get away from the door.

I hated the stairs .!! Up and down w/ laundry, groceries etc. Drove me crazy.
Loud music from the 15yo downstairs and her druggie friends on the front porch who wouldn't even lift a cheek to let me walk between them.
One time I smacked some trashy, dirty chick in the head with my bag carrying my laptop Whoops
It really makes finally having your own house that much better.

And so far, it beats the roofers breaking into my apartment & then the managment company giving us really short notice on not renewing our lease, in my old building.
OMG!!!!! I would have called the police!!!
About the break in?? I did, they ended up taking more stuff than the burglers did ( for prints) & were never able to get it back! I had no proof it was the roofers, but I realized after the police were done that it probabaly was them.

A sane landlord who unfortunately ended up w/ the wrong spouse & we hear fights every single day & woke up to the police a few weeks ago. Now our mail is on hold at post office so 'wacko' can't do anything......
Funny how they are divorcing but she gets to live here right now (w/ 5 kids!!!!) He's too nice!

- the smell of curry - the dude who has hit our car three times in the parking lot behind the building. - people who take the elevator to the 2nd floor. (It's is a big building and the elevator moves slowly) - pigeons.

This kills me! If you are physically healthy, you're not weight down with stuff and you don't have kids you can climb ONE flight of stairs!!!
