Our parents are pretty strict when it comes to that (they are traditional Italians), so FH and I won't live together until after we're married.

we have lived together for almost 2 years...by the time we are married we will be living together for 3! i love it, cuz i feel like we know all those weird things about each other already and dont have to worry bout that once we are married. it took us a while to adjust to the whole living together thing, but now it's like 2nd nature to us. my parents didnt like it....but we did it anyway, and now they are cool with it.

I wish we were living together but since i really have no money right now it was best for my to stay at home in my studio apartment in my parents house. Fh and I take turns sleeping over each others places and take two nights off a week from each other (usually because I have class or he is really tired and wants to go to bed). We will move in a few months before wedding and I should be working a great job by then so we can either afford a condo/town house by then.

i officially (started paying rent) starting living with him of Jan. of 06. ... i think its best to live with them before oyu get married!!!

We've lived together for almost 3 years now. I love it! I was a little unsure about living together before we were married because I thought it might take the fun out of our relationship after a while, but that's not what's happened at all. Even after 3 years together, I still get excited when he comes home from work.

we've been living together for a little over 2 years... we'll be together 4 yrs next month. i think it's great eps. because we had such a hard time the first 6 months of living together, so we're happy to get that out of the way...

we each still live at home.
we are going to start looking for a place about 6 months before the wedding. this way we can atleast move in some of our stuff.

been living together for over a year. i think it's brought us even closer, and i would have been worried that if we didn't try living together first, we'd find things about living with each other that we couldn't deal with!!
but i totally respect couples who wait until after marriage. i think it's romatic.

We've been living together for over a year now and it's great the beginning was tough and finding an apartment we both agreed on was annoying (it took us like 6 months). But now its pretty comfortable we each have our ways and we're fine w/it. Plus we live in a NYC apartment which is tiny...(im talking no doors, even the bathroom door doesn't fully close)..so if we can make it here we can make it anywhere.

We will wait until after our wedding. I live wiht my parents. My parents are old-fashioned and out of respect to them FH and I will wait until then. I'm just going to have to wait till next year!

Fh and I moved in 6 months after dating. We went through a really rocky point, but it made us so much closer and now we've been living together for almost 3 years and its amazing. You definetly need to work out some kinks when you first move in.

FH and i didn't want to live together until the wedding--for financial reasons...and plus we wanted that 'HM' time after the wedding.
i have 29 days left, and FH and i are buying furniture, moving into an apt., trying to get the place to together, and organize the remainder of the wedding!!!!
it's not easy, and i'm trying not to bang my head against the wall. but for us, it's actually the way we wanted it. it's kind of exciting going thru all this together and setting up our first place before the wedding!

FH and I have been together for 4 1/2 years! We've been talking about moving in for awhile but we got engaged instead. Right now I don't think I'd be able to afford it because I'm working part time while in school. I graduate this december and will start looking for a place. We both live and home and are saving money so hopefully we will be able to buy a place. Even if it's small we will be building equity. I don't think a co-op will be an option because of the maintenance fees It's going to be hard because I live in suffolk and work in port jeff and he lives in queens and works in bayside. Whoah! but we will figure something out!

Living together a year and a half; it will be almost three years by the wedding. But I think we'll have a mugh easier transition into marriage because of it. I think it's one of the best decisions we've made. But we did what's best for us.
Everyone's going to have an opinion, no matter what you do. So do what works best for you and your FH!

Same here. and FH's dad is a fireman, he will be retiring after we get married so FH's mom wont be home alone at night when FH moves out
