Mine got a little destroyed I spilled a chocolate covered fruit down the front of it, someone stepped on the train and put a hole in it and during the conga line Vinny's uncle was stepping on the bottom and my bustle is all ripped... so probably not... unless EVERYONE else is... then I have to work on getting it cleaned! LOL

You can always clean it if you really wanted to wear it but then youd have to clean it AGAIN at some point!

Hope you dropped the chocolate late in the evening!!!!

Re: LIW Anniversary Party

at the GTG on Saturday I got all excited when Ron gave us the news about being able to wear our wedding gowns again.

But Kim (KB) had a good point. she said she got married in that dress and it was a dress for that one day only. Got me thinking about that... I really would LOVE to wear it again though

Yeah I thought about it and don't want to wear it again. It was so special for that one day. Plus I am having it preserved.

Tough one...part of me totally wants to wear my dress again but another part whats to just have it remembered as wore on my wedding day...probably won't have to worry about it since won't be on LI then plus it's already cleaned !!

No official announcement, but I believe they are thinking of March, April.

Nope I wouldn't wear my dress again. Like KB said, it was meant for that one special day and I just had it preserved so I want to leave it alone. I managed to get through the wedding with no major rips or stains and now that I got all the little stains out I want to keep it that way. Plus how the heck would I get there with it on!

Before I was married, I said I thought I'd wear my wedding dress again -- even just around the house. Now, I don't want to put it on again; it's become a symbol of our wedding for me and I don't want to tamper with those memories.

It's my gorgeous gown that I wore for one day, when all eyes were on me and DH. I chose my hall so that I could be the only bride in sight that day. Wearing my gown at a party in which 100 other women will be in their gowns won't be the same.

Now, if we could wear our BM dresses again, count me in!
