So I went to the Adelphi Poetry Conference with my students today and I wound up running into someone who I had met when I guest presented at a Long Island Writing Project seminar. We started talking and found out that we were both getting married and that we were both on LIW! In fact we recognized each other's avatars! And... she's an 09er! I think it is so funny how many soon-to-be married girls are on here. It is almost a must! Hope to run into more of you soon!

That's so funny.
My FH helped a LIW Bride with her cell phone last week @ the Verizon Wireless store in Roosevelt Field. But by the time he got home, he forgot her screen name.
So I have no idea who it was..but I think LIW brides are everywhere!!!

You know what, I totally forgot what her screen name is... I think it had a b in it... but at the end of the conference there was an award ceremony and one of my students won.... and then I won for Excellence in Teaching Poetry! I was so surprised and excited, I completely forgot what her screen name is... I will keep looking
