I totally want to post pics of my makeup trials but really don't know how many people lurk on these boards but never post.
It is a wondeful wedding planning community - however - I think I read that some people have stalkers now after posting on these boards? Is that true for anyone here?
I know some users never post pics of themselves and like it that way.
What's the general consensus??

I just posted my makeup trials on the board and really I never thought about it. It isn't that my address is attached or any other information that would make someone try and find me.

I really don't like to post pics on here. If I do, I post them for like a day, and than take them off. Somehow that makes me feel better.
Maybe you can post and than take them off too?
I am so paranoid that I am afraid of writing something negative, in case someone I know will read and tell on me.

I haven't really posted many pictures, but that's only because I haven't had anything worth posting yet. I have no problem with posting pix when I do have them. The thought never occurred to me about stalkers.

I don't like to post pics of myself or DH either, for my review I wanted to post a couple, so I did a back view, with my face turned and a side view with my face turned to the side. DH said I definitly can't post pics of him.

I don't know about stakers - but I do know my FH's friends spent a good deal of time trying to figure out which one was me.
These were the FH's guy friends. People are weird.

Maybe I'm crazy but I post like crazy - I have pics all over....knot site, here in respones and albums...I just feel like if someone is gonna stalk someone this probably wouldn't be the way to go...and what are they going to do> Its not like you have your address and phone # on here...JMO

I've posted pics of myself before but then I usually take them down a few days later or after the post has slowed down. I don't ever post pics of FH though because he's a government attorney. I'm definitely concerned about 'lurkers' because you never know exactly who it is or what their intentions are. Yes, I'm paranoid!

I put a pic of FH and me in my avatar a couple weeks ago but then I got all paranoid and took it right down. To each his own I guess. I just don't feel okay with having my pic splattered across the net.

I have a few 'stalkers'. I used a fake name for a few weeks but the more I thought about it I didn't care. These people just have NO LIFE to stalk someone on a website. Get something better to do with your time

i dont mind posting pics of myself but ia m not going to lie, sometimes i am too lazy to resize or to do it the right way since i work on a mac and they dont post as easily all the time for some reason
