LIWEDDINGS, ANY WAY TO INCREASE THE SPEED OF LOADING THE PAGES

To some degree, the site has become slower, due to slower loading pages once I click on a link and too many clicks required to get to where I want!!!

Any way to improve it? And this is over the T1/T3 type of connection. Can't imagine this with a dial up.

Also, at the quickie navigation bar it bounces you to the site's achitecture first, which is totally unnecessary.

liweddings needs to know these things, they need to know the flaws in the system they have designed so that they can fix them. unfortunatly some people arent as honest about these things as most would want.
liweddings has always loaded slowly for me and I my connections range from T1 at work to cable at home. mabe they need new faster servers or if could be bad hosting only they know and also they need to play around with their positioning on the search engines. I know they tried not to mess with thier keywords too much. so somehow thier sitemap shows up on the search engines.

We are still cataloging the updated database. So, we expect things to be a little slow. For everyone else the site loads faster regardles of this. BTW - the site is located on an OC-48. Lots of bandwidth. Servers are quad Xeon. Doesn't get much faster than that. A so called slowness can be due to slow processing on the client (your) machine. If you have an older machine, many services installed, or older browser versions it can appear that a site is slow. In addition you can have a T1, T3 or what ever, but if they are saturated everything slows down.

I'll keep on checking to see if it improves. So far the afternoon is better than morning.

But I don't see why it should be slower than before for me, if all things stayed the same (not that I know the bandwidth use of my job)

I'll keep you posted if I run into trouble...
