Here is an idea, why not donate to the Rescue animal fund. Where they train drogs to find living people trapped in rubble like they did in the WTC. that why you are both helping animals and people. Its a great cause and you can do it in memory of 9/11 or the victums of Katrina.

She is trying to redeem herself on donation thread!!

I'm not trying to redeem NOTHING! I feel its WRONG to make money off the 9/11 nightmare! I'm NOT sorry for that and I never will be! I've lost a FF friend in the WTC and to see people make money off of what and others died for makes me sick! I'm so glad you all could get together and talk about me rather than FM like adults!

How could you come onto a post and state something like that? You've disrespected so many and all you can do is say 'Boycot me, go for it'?

A simple apology to those who were affected would have done.

You are the one and same who came on here and posted that people went to your personal website and disrespected you by saying things that hurt your feelings....is that not true?

Chris, not my board...and trust me I don't plan on posting here again...but wanted to send you and tell you not to take to heart that which comes out of ignorance. Would a normal person apologize immediately for making such a grossly hurtful and inappropriate comment? Sure. But a normal person can spell (sorry, I had to throw that in ). This person did not behave in a normal and civilized way. Even for a thread discussing a topic, making a general remark and not backing it up is kind of nutty. Her comment is what made me pause before responding to that thread - so it wasn't just you that was offended. I think your FM is more than appropriate and you should never feel bad for 'blacklisting' someone...although letting the person know what they did was wrong would help since no negative energy would be on you.

Again, I'm sorry not everyone thinks before they type. I have been in the receiving end of nastiness and wondered many times (also last night) why I even bother 'helping' people. And BTW, spellcheck is free and included in every post! Although you can't spell check if you don't know how to spell in the first place. And I'm not talking about spelling errors we all make because we're typing fast - this isn't elementary school and I’m not a teacher - I'm talking about constant misspelling of the same words...which leads me to believe this person doesn't know how to spell in the first place. Why is spelling a pet peeve of mine? Sorry, I got off topic. But what else is new?

Whether it's those who were personally there, or those who lost families and friends.

Honestly guys, I understand someone being upset and wanting to address the situation but u just started drama on this 06 board that we all intended on not having here.

You should of addressed it to her via FM
and let it go.
Thats why I enjoy being on here.
Not for this stuff and I cant help in reading the thread.
Come on....I like what we had here on 06 board...lets not ruin it.

OK I did my research and came to my own conclusion. There are some people who are capable of reason and rational thought. There are others who are quick to react without thinking things through. This is not the first time this person has made comments without thinking first or reflecting afterwards. I know she has irked me some too.

There have been a few times in the months that I have been on LIW, when I have gotten heated up about something and either posted or repsonded to something in haste. After some reflection, I may realize the error of my ways or see how a person could misinterpret my thoughts and I apologize either publically or in FMs.

This tragic event is like no other in OUR history as young women. In the past, yes, but OUR lives, NO. There needed to be a sensitivity factor that was apparently absent upon this post. Nobody would walk around to the innocent people/victims of Hiroshima or Auschwitz saying things like that. The same respect should be given to the victims and families of 9/11.

I forgive me after seeing endless adds for 9/11 propaganda where greedy people make HUGE MONEY OFF other peoples tradgties.! I stand by what I said. If you wanna buy off other people mistery then... just enjoy making some greedy $(%*@ rich!

The insensitivity towards this issue completely baffles me... Who are these many people that feel the progaganda has gotten out of control? I haven't met or heard of one!

Sorry...but this thread is probably going to be pulled...I'm FM'ing ROn an apology for causing the drama, but this one just HIT WAY too close to home for me, and I couldn't stand it one bit.

It's been eating away at me, and I apologize to those not involved, but with a comment like that, it makes you think that this isn't the type of forum to be on.
