Curly just listed all the weddings coming up in September and
Ever think of having a 'Wedding Review' board? I know it could potentially get ugly because people have a tendency to unleash fury in bad reviews...but if it's regulated, it could be a pretty good service to the BTB's.
I know before my wedding I searched for reviews and had a hard time coming up with them...this could be a big help...and kind of fun to have everyone's recaps in one place!

maybe that can replace one of the boards like 2003- no one ever posts on it.

Misty, There already is a wedding review / rate your vendor section, but I feel like not many people actually use it. I think it is mostly because it's easy to forget it is there, I know I usually just come straight to the boards and don't notice anything else. Maybe if there was an obvious link on the top of the BHB that would help. I also get totally frustrated with the search option and feel like it doesn't always work.

Yeah, that vendor review section is good...but the reviews we do here usually inlcude pictures, and they are much more personal. I used to look for the reviews not just for the vendor ratings, but for the pics, ideas, and to find out how my girlies day went!
I think we all just get more from the more personal reviews!

I think it's a great idea!
The vendor services area in the front will only include LIW vendors and I have heard where some people's reviews take a long time to get posted.

i concur.
I looked up that rate your vendor area... there's just NOT enough info there at all!
I have tried to use a search.. but that is too convoluted to be of any use. You have to spend a lot of time weeding through to find what you need.
A review board sounds fine, but pulling it off may be difficult. You'd have to get the brides to post for each vendor. As they do it now they post their whole wedding.. all vendors included. Someone at LIWedding (if copied via FM) I guess could break it out for us.
Just thoughts to chew on..

Maybe wording it as a 'Review Board' is a bad idea. Maybe it would be better suited as a 'My Wedding Recap' board. A place for each bride to post their wedding day experience/pics. The way everyone does on BHB now. Just more localized!

i think that is a terrific idea! even though we have a search option, sometimes it is difficult to locate what you are looking for. this would make it much easier to find a review.

I think that the vendors on here should be able to post about US!!!They should have a board..Ive heard some people arent very nice to vendors...and I think thats sad.

As long as we are making suggestions, I think it would be great if we could search peoples profiles to find out what vendors they are using.
