why his name is Mr. Boots!!?? I don't know the story behind it and inquiring minds, just have to know!!

It's a corruption of his last name, and it just goes so well with the name of our first future child: Monkey Zoom.

Also, I think Wendy had something to do with it. And probably Ann and Farah too.

Monkey Zoom Boots... he, or she, will affectionately be known as The Notorious M.Z.B.

It's also partly to preserve his (and my) anonymity.

There have been incidents of people getting too personal (and a little stalkerish!) on the boards. So it just prevents too much personal info from getting out.

And it annoys him that I refer to him by something people would name a cat!
