LMAO, I got this email

I got this email from a friend who I have known since I was 16:

Happy New Year!! Sorry I'm a little late. So how's the wedding planning going, stressful? If there is anything I can do to help, please don't
hesistate to ask. It's probably a pain in the ass planning a wedding on Long Island when your in Orlando. Speaking of weddings, guess who's
planning on getting engaged....ME! I'm going to ask Heather on our year anniversary on May 17th. I got tickets to the Yankee game for that day, and
I'm gonna have the proposal on the scoreboard and annouced by the house annoucer. Pretty cool huh? It only costs $75. Are you going to be up
here by then, because I am planning on having a small gathering afterwards
to celebrate the wedding annoucement. Let me know. Talk to you soon!

LMAO...so I wrote back

Sure I will be up there then, that is the day I am getting married! I'm sorry you will be unable to make it but Congrats!

I am a little ticked at him since we have talked about my wedding a gazillion times and then he got mad at me for my response saying I was not enthusiastic enough. WTF?? LMAO All I can do is laugh otherwise I have to get on a plane and beat the crap out of him with a stick

WTF? Did he not know your wedding date? Maybe HE is the one who is not enthusiastic enough about YOUR wedding or he would have remembered. I'd be a little ticked too. Did he apologize or what?

That's too funny... is he serious?? I guess if he got mad for you not being enthusiastic enough then I guess he is serious about doing it on your wedding day.
ques - did he even acknowledge that it was the day of your wedding and that he wasn't going to be able to come? Should be interesting when you get his response card!

I hope he's not serious! He really should hold off! Nice idea he has, but come on!!!

That's really f**ked up. What is there 80-or-something other home games he can do it at. What an inconsiderate SOB. I guess you missed the memo that it is all about him.

If you don't want to beat him with the stick - I'll do it for you.

Kudos for taking it so well! I wouldn't be that understanding.

Re: LMAO, I got this email

Yeah well what are you going to do! No he did not acknowledge the wedding in his response. I am trying to take it well. But I am seriously considering not even inviting him now. Is that wrong?

Re: LMAO, I got this email

Don't invite him, then when he asks why he wasn't invited, tell him that you actually pay attention, and take note of when someone has plans.

Are you good friends with him? If you are, he should make it to your wedding. And, if he is set on proposing that day, then he should do it before your wedding. If he got mad at your response - then he seems a bit like a girl!

if this was coming from a girl friend, i think i'd be more ****ed. really, guys just dont GET things sometimes. you should just let him know that you are a little disappointed in him, but ask if it will be possible for him to make it to your wedding. i think this just comes down to boys being dumb most of the time.

Just goes to show, people can be so unbelieveable absorbed in their own lives. Oh well.
