LnP2003 and I went to Old Westbury Gardens, here are the pics !!!!

It was Breathtaking.
I booked it for my wedding pics. Anyone who does so will not regret it.

I really looks so different once its in bloom, those pix are awesome, I am definitely going there for a picnic this year. They offered it to us last year when we booked and we never did it. The place is awesome.

Here are some pix of some spots that you posted above that looks so different when it is in bloom. I thought I had more in color scanned but I only have a lot of the b&w scanned so I can't even show you the real beauty...shucks..here are a few

I am glad to hear that, you will have some fantastic pix as well. The place is so well kept and just so beautiful. Is Lisa taking her pix there as well?? What are you doing up so early??? How did Len do on the doilies (sp)

I am just making the master copies, then taking it to Stan's house so he could CD-text it.

Len is going to do the doilies today. I'll know how he does when I get home later.

Lisa is not sure yet, but I think our little visit is working it's magic on her

Shamma- a question for you...do you remember how long it took Lia to take the pics at Old Westbury?

See we are suppose to leave the church in Farmingdale at 4:30 and have to be back in Syosset by 6:15. I am afraid with travel time we might not have enough time. I originally was going to go to Planting Fields (still might since it is cheaper) but it is further than Old Westbury so i am afraid about how much time we would have.

Those gardens, and that mansions was in the movie, Cruel Intentions with Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe (sp?),,,where they first met, when she was riding a horse and he introduces himself.
