lobster rolls?

lobster rolls?

where on LI can I go get a good lobster roll made with fresh lobster???

You can't. I have tried many places but they are just not the same as getting them in Maine.

Try Jordan's they might be able to do a good job but I don't think they are ever the same -- like bagels just not good once you leave LI.

oh Jordans is near me!!! Ill try them there. McDonalds used to have them every summer and they were actually really good, but that might have only been in Maine as I havn't ever noticed them selling them here in the summers.

I'd go to that place out east, but its so far for a weeknight dinner. but I think Ive passed that lobster roll place when we go to the hamptons- Ill make DH stop next time we go out!

If you every go to Boston go to Quincy Market at Government center they are the BEST!!!!

LOL I have- but its been awhile. But Boston is a little far for a weeknight dinner. Hehe.

I think Legal Seafood has them

Maybe Jordans? or Peter's Clam Bar in Island Park as well.

they are good there too. but there is nothing like getting them from some free stand on the beach in Maine!!!

LOl Im sorry!!! Im like drooling thinking about them! Where are u going in Maine? We were in Kittery the other day and i had an amazing Lobster roll!!! You will probably have to pass through there anyway. We stopped at a restaurant called Roberts maine grill. They toasted the bun and it was just heaven!!! I also had one the other day in kennebunkport at Federal jacks and it was also really good!!!

We go to Ogunquit so it is right by Kittery and Kenny Bunkport -- we go every summer with FH's family. The first day there I get a Lobster Roll and Beer for lunch by the pool. I have never had one I didn't like up there but there is this one little shack place right in town that has the best ones. I am drooling now too!
