i just started to plan my wedding for next december 2007 and am looking for a place to hold the reception. we're having a small wedding, probably about 50-75 people. any suggestions for an intimate reception location in suffolk county?

The Riverview or the Snappe rInn, I think they are both in Oakdale... Good luck!

I had my reception (85 people) at the Snapper Inn (Oakdale). We also considered the Three Village Inn (Stony Brook) and Chateau La Mer (Lindenhurst).

We're having I think 75-80 people top, and we're having our reception at Westbury Manor.

Louis XVI in Patchogue...definitely check it out. Also, the Irish Coffee Pub has a nice room.

Tall Grass CC in Shoreham (It's a Lessing's place). One wedding at a time and usually the minimum is 85, but they are VERY accommodating. They have really reasonable prices and the room is beautiful.

We booked Three Village Inn, it's great for smaller weddings. Danfords is also wonderful and you can have pics right on the water.

George Washington Manor in Roslyn.
15-150 people. Several banquet rooms to choose from. Separate chapel on premises.
