We want to have an informal wedding to cut down on spending and the Bar B Q Clam Bake is in. Only problem, I cannot find a place to have my reception. Catering halls freak when they here our menu and I am scared to have it outside (rain or heat). Any ideas on locations?

you can do an outside june wedding, its not that hot in early june, as it is in july or aug,

I don't know where you live, but there is a house in Setauket where you can rent the house and bring in your own catering. I can't think of the name but if you are interested I will find out for you.

I think the Pavilion in Sunken Meadow (a Lessings facility) does clam bakes.
