location of house (trying to kill time)

Original post by AdriandSteve

So, in an effort to kill the next 30 min or so this is my question...

if $ weren't an issue where on Long Island, Queens, Bk, or SI, would you live and why?

I THINK i would live in rockville center. It's close to all my family, the houses are sooo nice and beautiful and big over there.

Sayville, Bayport or Babylon Village! We live in LB right now and although I love it, I miss living closer to my family in Suffolk!

I would love to live in one of those North Shore towns. But my family and my work is on the South Shore, so I have to stay true lol. I would LOVE to live in Rockville Centre!!! BEAUTIFUL!

Nassau County...somewhere near my hometown (East Meadow). Maybe Merrick, Bellmore, Garden City?

Southampton would be high on my list. Or Muttontown.

RVC, Garden City, Muttontown, Manhasset

However, we live in Massapequa now and I'm VERY happy here

Definitely Bay Ridge. I miss it there so much. Second choice would be Dyker Heights. If I couldnt do brooklyn for some reason I would live in Manhattan.

Hmm probaby Garden City because it's so nice and it would be such a great commute to work (we both work in Manhattan).

Brookville if money were no object.

Theoretically we want a house in Bathpage or Plainview... I've lived my whole life on the North Shore so I know where everything is :)

But I like RVC a lot too... we'll see what happens.
