Locations for Reception

Can anyone help with an undiscovered reception location? I feel like I've reviewed just about everything. I'm looking for something different and elegant, anywhere from the eastern part of nassau to westchester. Any ideas?

What places have you looked at? I have some in mind but it would not be beneficial if you already checked them out.

Re: Locations for Reception

Well at first i wanted to do the whole mansion thing, but now it doesnt seem like any mansion i was interested in will be able to accomodate my 200 person wedding. (I am estimating about 200), I've read some of them hold the amount bu the dancing and band will have to be in another room. I love the garden city hotel, but can't afford the price tag so far I've been stuck on the Carltun, which suits my needs perfectlym just my style.. any other like that? I'm going to look at Marina del Rey on thursday,, so I'm being very optimistic..... So far I'm thinking I might move up on into Westchester...I'm trying not to stress, but sometimes its difficult. thanks fo rall your feed back.

If you're moving on to Westchester areas, take a look at Estherwood in Dobbs Ferry. I can't recall the capacity, but I believe their website provides that information.

Also... in Westchester or Tarrytown... try The Castle and Tappan Hill.
