Hi! I am a former Long Islander, but a Long Island bride to be. I live in MD, so looking for places is hard. I was in LI this weekend and looked at various places...but nothing that really struck my fancy. My wedding will be about 160-180 people and I'm looking for a place that is about 100pp...any ideas? I have looked at the Crest Hollow, Woodbury CC, Fox Hollow (all Scotto Bros places) Carltun (loved but too much $$$), Garden City Hotel (liked but too much $$), Swan Club, Roslyn Claremont, and North Shore Synogogue. Right now the top contenders are Crest Hollow CC and North Shore Synogogue. Any other suggestions????

Re: Locations for Reception...Help!
Well, I think you should check out Bayview House at Captain Bills. Its a funny name, but a really nice place, right on the ocean, with Excellent food.
did you look at theRiviera in Massapequa? It may be a little small for what you want i would say it holds 170 MAX. Also it depends on the time of year b/c the indoor cocktail hour is a small room but the outside is HUGE and the inside room is a decent size. i would try them. FM me if you have any questions.

ChippaTriD and I are both having our reception at the Manor East . We are getting so much for our money. If you want to know more just send either Chippatrid or I a forum mail.

Manor East
Nylisa and I like she said will both be there the same night and time and our paths will never cross (but we are planning on meeting up to take a picture)
We are both paying under 100 a person and getting everything from soup to nuts.
What I really love is we budged 110 p/p and since we are paying a lot less we were able to take the extra money and apply it to adding more to something else.
