I started Loestrin last month and I am having some trouble. I only got my period for one day. I am SO bloated I look pregnant...my face is breakign out..I have been nauseous, tired and depressed...has anyone else had this on this pill? I am getting so discouraged because I ahve been eating so well and exercising and am just so bloated its disgusting!

I personally HATED that pill. My period was light- yes or non existant sometimes, which IMO is not much help! lol Hello can we say freaked out one month! I also had crazy mood swings on it. I don't know many people who have liked it. I use Tri-nessa which is a low dose pill similar to Ortho Lo

Some women have a really hard time on Birth Control Pills. I tried several before deciding that I didn't want to e sick all the time. Most women have to try several pills before they find one they like, and some just can't be on it.
After 3 or 4 pills I finally went to the NuvaRing, and for me, it was great. Each body is different. Call your ob/gyn and explain what's going on.

thanks...I was on ortho Lo but was having spotting so I switched to this...i hate it...its bad to stop in the middle of a cycle, right? I can't wait to get off this!

Im using loestrin too.. I was on ortho lo but was feeling moody so my doc switched me to loestrin im not really sure how i feel about it b/c you barely get a period on it and it def. made me gain weight...

This is the 4th pill I've tried, and the best by FAR. I have no cramps or backaches (which were so bad on Ortho-Lo I actually had to call in sick to work). My skin is totally clear. My period is 4 days long and not too heavy. The only problem I've had is weight gain. I'm having none of the problems I'm hearing about from other girls. But then again, I was on Yasmin and it was the WORST thing that like, ever happened to me in my life.
Different pills are different for everyone. It's just trial and error. Stick with the pills for at least 3 months while your body adjusts, and if it's still bad after that, switch to another brand.

i take Loestrin..its the BEST pill i've ever been on. And i've been on quite a few. I had no side effects. I get my period for about 2-3 days. its never heavy, i have little or no cramps. I take it for medical reasons and Ive never had the results I have with this pill, than I did with the others
