I love your hair and the flowers!! :-) Glad to see you kept your bangs with the updo. Michele wouldn't trim mine last week because she thinks she wants to put them back when she does my 'wedding hair.' They are way to long and are driving me crazy. I don't think I can take another month of long bangs.

I loved the way Michele did my hair and makeup, and I was really happy to read you were happy with your highlights. I guess she figures she would rather cut your bangs later if she has to rather than worrying about them growing in. How are your responses going? You are almost there..

My response deadline is Saturday(June 2) and I have almost all of them back. I'm still waiting on about 15 responses(out of 89 invitations sent), but most of them are from people that I know are coming(my aunt and some of my cousins)and the rest are cousins of my mother and they could go either way. I didn't want to check anyone off on my list until I got the response card in hand. I hit my minimum # of 130 so I've relaxed a bit. I'm starting to get really excited now!!!

Question for MichelleW

How was your experience with RKBridal? I work right near there, and know that they carry a few dresses that I'm interested in. How was the overall service, any complaints? Also, were alterations included in the price?

I work in the area as well, and it was very convenient for me to go there. The staff is very courteous and they do not cut the labels or style numbers out of the dresses. In all honesty it is a very 'no frills approach' If you are looking for an elegant Bridal Salon, RK is not for you. As for alterations, that is extra, I believe the cap is about $180, no matter what you have done and the alterations are CASH ONLY. My only complaint was that they did a really CHEESY job on the bustle
