LOL LOL....and who thought the bad luck streak ended for me.......

Well, it didn't..........and all I can say is BLAH!!!

I've been working for my company for a while now but never hired on permanent........but April 2nd was the date I was to be hired on permanent. Well, the 2nd came and went.....so I talked to the HR department today, and found out the company is going through a hirirng freeze Yup, that's right girls......I'm out of a job in a couple of weeks.

With all the bad luck that has hit my FH and I over the past months, I'm not even upset about this.....well, not yet. I guess it just doesn't surprise me at all...........

Just totally blows that it's so close to our wedding..........UGH!!!!!!!!!!!

Sooo sorry to hear about that. It really stinks... well, it gives you time to look for another job. Can you collect unemployment in the meantime then after the wedding start looking for a new job... so this way you can concentrate on having a great time at the wedding.

Girl you are destined to have a wonderful marriage - you definitely deserve it after this string of bad luck!

Since my contract was up on April 2nd, they can't afford the position any longer, so I have 2 weeks basically. That's how they explained it to me. I'm not fired.......just laid off I guess???

File for unemployment--that should hold you over until you find something else...you may however, want to wait until after your wedding to commit to something...you'll only have three weeks before your wedding, and that is if you find a job that begings immediately after you stop working at the current one.

Definitely file for unemployment then just sit back relax and take care of all your wedding plans. When you are back from your honeymoon then start your search as you said. Good luck girl!

Honey I feel your pain! I have met with TONS of placement agencies so I can tell you some if you need. What do you do?

Wow, so you're out of a job but the good thing is that you have unemployment and some extra time off before the wedding!!!! Everything happens for a reason and maybe this is God's way of giving you a well deserved break before the wedding.
