Lombardis on the Sound

Hello :O)

My fiance and I booked Lombardis on the Sound. I was wondering for those of you have already gotten married at this venue:

When did you meet with them prior to the wedding?

When did they give you the directional cards?

Do they give you place cards for the event or did you have to get them yourself?

Is there anything else I should know about Lombardis for my event?

We booked the florist, the dj, the photographer, the hotel blocks, the limos, got my dress ordered , got the bridesmaid dresses ordered - going to look at tuxes in March.... Got my invitations ordered... now I'm just trying to figure out the other things I have to do..... which I know there is a lot but I'm still learning haha javascript:FEmote('');

When you ask 'when you meet with them prior to the wedding' do you mean like to go over your menu and stuff? If so, I was told we choose our menu 8 weeks in advance.

I'm not sure about the directional cards but if you call, I'm sure they will help you. They always answer my questions right away when I call. Who did you book with? We booked with Charles but then he went over to Lomb. on the Bay and now we have Anna (who we actually met when we went to look at Lomb on the Bay!) Her and Charles switched locations.

I believe they do provide escort cards however I am probably DIY to make them fancier.

The food is freakin amazing and you get soooo much of it!! We added some upgrades as well, like the raw seafood bar for CH and an extra hour with full viennese and breakfast

There's a showcase coming up on Feb 7...it's a Sunday, from 1-3:30.

We booked with Charles, we absolutely loved him. He was great!!! How is Anna???

We were told about Lombardi's on the Bay from Charles, but he said it was too small for us since it only holds 150... we are inviting about 200-215... we guaranteed 160...
We went to Lombardis on the Bay for dinner one night to check it out as a possible rehearsal dinner place, but it was when it first opened, it was so crowded and the service was so slow- probably because they had just recently opened. We love the food!!!

We went to a bridal showcase at Lombardis on the Sound in May- it's good because they set out some food that they have on the wedding menu (some food- obviously they have so much) Anyway, it was nice to try some things to know what we want at the wedding and what we don't....

I'm waiting for them to send a bill in the mail for the 6 month prior to the wedding payment- I'm hoping they then suggest a time to call them to make that 8 week appointment for the menu....

I figured I would go and get the stuff to make my own 'escort' didn't know that's what they were called lol cards.... It makes sense though haha. I'll probably do that closer to when we figure out the seating arrangements and such.


Wow- you got amazing upgrades!! They through in a shrimp cocktail bar for us and we got a roasting pig? LOL... I dunno he was like you want it? My dad was like are you giving it to us then sure lol... Never say no to extras!!!
