My Brother got married at VL a few years ago...it was over the top fabulous!!! I hope mine will be as great as his was! I grew up in Port Jeff and always wanted it at the country club...so, I was very happy when Lombardi's took it over! Does anyone know the timeline of when we are supposed to discuss linens, menu, etc?

LOTS was a runner up for us! We loved the view and Villa Lombardis was beautiful. We went there for a showcase last year, but I ultimatley loved the East Wind.

Good luck! I am sure there are more brides out there, who are a LOTS bride

I was told they would call me for a 'party planning' appointment. If i don't hear from them by the end of the week I'm going to call them ( i only have 50 days left!!)

We are not getting married there but I live down the block and we go there all of the time !! FH & I as well as my mom & her friends. You & FH should go to their happy hour just to enjoy the place a bit. 1/2 price drinks and they always have something yummy to taste too !!

I got married there! No need to worry about anything, They will contcat you or you an call your Banquet Manager to set up an appointment. They are wonderful, my guests are still saying it was the best wedding they have been to.

LOTS was my second choice, only because of the distance for most of my guests! I thought the outdoor cliffs overlooking the sea were beautiful, and they were very gracious and acommodating.
Good luck...someday I hope to attend a wedding there!!!!

We just had my daughter;s wedding there (040508 bride). It was a great wedding and the food was out of this world. She should be doing her review soon - she's waiting for pro pics to come in first. And, they will contact you for final planning about 2-3 weeks before your date. Enjoy it - it will be great!

We are having our reception there next month and have an appt this Sat to select the menu and go over all the other details.
