Lombardis on the Sound or Coindre Hall??

Hi Everyone!! In need of some help!
Finally narrowed my choices down to my two favorites, LOTS and Coindre Hall... now I just need to choose one!

We have around 175 guests and are looking for a big party!

I love the feeling of Coindre Hall, its so warm and beautiful :) but I also love the fact that LOTS is right on the water and I liked the cocktail hour being outside with great views.
Has anyone had their wedding or been to a wedding at either that would like to offer some advice??
Thanks!

I like LOTS better because it's on the water and people can go out on the balcony anytime during the reception. Coindre is nice too but the dancing is in a separate room from the tables so I don't like that at all.

My opinion is a little biased because we're having our ceremony and reception at Coindre Hall. My fiance and I loved the feeling that we got the second we walked in. We loved all the little details that they had in each room (mirrors, chests, vases). We also liked the wood floors and chandeliers. LIke another person said the dance floor is in a different room, but we were told there will be tables placed in the dancing room for guests that would like to watch, but not dance. Good luck with your decision!

I went to a wedding at LOTS in July. She probably had about 150-175 people in the upstairs room. I would say that it was too many for that CH space and room that they had it in. Also, if you are getting married in the outside area, its right next to the tennis courts and there were some pretty intense tennis matches with quite a bit of profanity going on DURING her ceremony. Also, the barstaff their was beyond rude, totally ignored several of the guests when we went up to get drinks, and only apologized when my FH made a stink about it. But the food was delicious and the waiters and waitresses were great. The CH was ridiculous too. ETA: It was a REALLY hot day in July and there were maybe 5 people that went outside for CH. Everyone else stayed inside in the CH room.

These are of course only my opinions though. I hope that helps!
