i'm planning our wedding long distance and actually have a contract being mailed to LOTS but i'm not a big fan of the ballroom. I saw this website for vineyard caterers and it looks more simple and my style. I love the view at LOTS though. So confused!

I went to a wedding at vineyard caterers this past June and it was beautiful. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this place -although I have never been to lombardi's.

Thank you! I wish I could go see it but I will not be in town until christmas. I just read a bad review somone posted earlier about LOTS which makes me nervous too. Prior to that though I had heard nothing but good things. The vineyard looks very pretty

don't worry about what one person says...my cousin had her wedding at lomardi's and it was great.

I can help you out sort of...if you are having more than150 people, book at LOTS...if you are having less than you are still in the same boat. I think V's cocktail hr room only seats 150 or less. Call them to find out if you have more guests than that.

on the other hand my cousin had a bar mitvah at vineyard and it was also to die for. They have completely different styles. The food was remarkable at vineyard.

I have seen both places. Vineyard was my top choice -- simple, pretty. The only thing I did not like was low ceilings but I was willing to look past it. However it was WAY too small for us.
I know they say it holds 200 or 225 IT DOESN'T.

I looked into Lombardi's and ALMOST booked there. I got a horrible vibe from the woman that we were dealing with however, and had a gut feeling that it wasn't the right decision. Lombardi's is very pretty and I liked the outside but poor service before we booked jjust left me with a bad feeling about the place.
My brother got married at Vineyard Caterers this past June. It was beautiful there! The banquet manager could not have been more accommodating and sweet. He couldn't have done anything differently. It was great.
Just as the other girls have said, each person has different experiences. Don't solely take a bad experience as the be all end all but it's just something to think about. Maybe look into some other places.

I went to a June wedding at Lombardi's. It was very nice there. I havent been to Vineyard caterers but my moms boss had her step daughters wedding there and she said it was beautiful and the food was great.
I think the ballroom there is downstairs though. That may or may not be a problem for you. When I thought about it for my wedding I was a bit weary about people going up and down all night (I have over 300 guests). But this is just a personal preference of my own. Otherwise, I heard its great there.

I got married at LOTS and it was amazing! If you book your wedding there, you will not regret it. The food and service is incredible and the view is simply gorgeous. Everyone that came to our wedding is STILL talking about it a year and half later. If you have any questions, FM me.

I've been to weddings at both rather recently. I agree with what a PP said about VC..I would not put more than 150 people in that place. However, the food and service were perfect. The view from the deck is amazing and the bride's pics came out gorgeous in the vineyards.
The wedding at LOTS was very nice also. CH is super impressive. You can't go wrong with either choice.

both venues are gorgeous.. really will depend on how many guests you are looking for... if you are having a large wedding I would go with LOTS... just because of space!

I am a vineyard caterers bride. Out of curiousity, where did you read the bad review? I would like to see it.
Personally, I love the place and they have treated me so well thus far. I've read only really positive review on the Brides review etc and have yet to see a bad one. Would love to see what this review had to say so i can potentially avoid anything bad happening on my wedding day!

I am having my wedding at Lombardi's! I wanted to be by the water and as soon as i saw the view i was sold. Fran, who i have been dealing with has been very helpful.
They also have an excellent reputation for their food which was very important to me.

I went to a wedding at Vineyard's this summer and it was a great wedding!! It was such a beautiful day with great food and friends!! I'm sorry NapaValleyGirl I should have clarified. The bad review was about Lombardi's. It sounded like it may have been a misunderstanding with the dates or times or something like that. I did not mean to scare you.

I am having my wedding at LOTS. I know lots of people who have gone to weddings there or at Villa Lombardi's and every1 says that the food is incredible. I really fell in love with the view at LOTS. I am only having 120 people at my wedding. FM me if u have any questions that you don't feel like posting.
