Lombardi's Weddings??

Hi All - new to LIweddings, but getting married July 2013. My fiance and I have looked at a bunch of places, and are trying to make a final decision...

Any thoughts on Lombardi's on the Sound and the Bay?

Also have been considering Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst - thoughts???

I recently saw a brides review of Lombardis on the Bay in Patchogue and I have also heard great things about it. I would look at the brides reviews. HTH

We chose Lombardi's on the sound so i am kinda biased lol. The view is what sold it to me. I love it. The food is another reason. Our families are big on good, quality food and Lombardi's can offer that. I have had nothing but good experiences with them thus far. The coctail hour being pat inside, part outside is amazing to be able to have. I would defiantly recommend taking a look. You are the only bride. That was important to me. I didnt want to feel like a number lol

Good Luck!

I'm booked at the Bay and it's so pretty! Loviedovie just posted her review of LOB recently so if you go and look at the Bride's Review section you can find it :)

Love the sound & the bay! Great food, we booked on the sound only because the room is bigger and we have about 160 people but the room at the bay is so gorgeous!

Re: Lombardi's Weddings??

Hello. I had my wedding at Lombardi's On the Sound this past August. We booked Lombardi's for the breathtaking view. I can not tell you how many times prior to the wedding I was panicking that we'd have a rainy day and my husband just kept saying 'it's ok if it rains, we still have unbelievable food for everyone to talk about.' Luckily we had a BEAUTIFUL day, most people spent cocktail hour on the back deck and everyone raved about the food. The comment the following morning from many people was 'I thought the cocktail hour was it, and then MORE food and SO MANY CHOICES!!' We really have no complaints. There was an 80th Bday party above us that night and I was a little worried but we never saw them, or their guests once. If you have any specific questions feel free to let me know. We also LOVED our cake. I'm kicking myself now but my husband and I can not remember our Bridal Attendants name, WE DID NOT LIKE HER but our Maitre D was GREAT and took over. We are not needy people at all, I think I needed a drink two times during the night and I went to get it myself, that's when my Maitre D saw me and took over. At one point I was SWEATING (dancing like a maniac) and she went right over and lowered the thermostat. I think I froze a couple of my guests though, lol. Also- They say the room fits 242. I had 180 and it was VERY comfortable, I'd say it can comfortably fit up to 210?! Don't quote me on that, just a thought.

I'm getting married at Cheateau La Mer and we fell in love with the place. We had a tasting a few weeks after our visit and we were sold. It's worth checking out. Good luck and congrats!!
