Has anyone had their wedding at Lombardi's on the sound recently. I am looking for both good and bad feedback. Thanks.

THey were really pushy with me when I looked.. They wanted me to book on the spot or I would 'loose it' and they made it sound like my wedding would be terrible if I went anywhere else. I didnt like that much.

I had the same experience. The place is gorgeous, but I thought that the woman I met with was really snooty.

We had the opposite experience!
The woman we spoke with held the date for a week b/c my daughter's FH couldn't get there to see the place. When we came back w/o him and she was willing to sign so she wouldn't lose the date, the woman said don't sign if you're not 100% sure, i'll hold it another week or call you if it's a problem. She was really sweet, BUT she is no longer there.
I don't like hearing they have snooty people working there!

i had it there. here's what i experienced.
- unprofessional 'wedding managers', it took 3 times to get the right info. - i was out of state and everytime I visited, i couldm't see the room. that is BS. - food is excellent - place is beautiful - service during the day is perfect. its everyday up to there that is bad. ok, maybe not everyday. but they were pretty bad. They don't seem to understand that its more than the service the day of, its up to the day that also counts.
how much is it now for a sat night in the summer?

Re: Lombard's on the sound
hmmmmm, no, but I'm going to guess about $20- $25 less per person. Even the $130 is a great price for what you get there food-wise!!! Friggin' amazing!

Re: Lombard's on the sound
My FH and I almost booked there.. we really fell in love with everything and as far as the Lombardis reputation went we werent worried..BUT when I brought my mom back there it was a whole different story..my dad even walked out (he is VERY easy going) bc of the way the BM was talking to my mom..so we walked out and that made our decision for us..

Re: Lombard's on the sound
They were a little too pricey for us and IMO the room is a little plain.
They quoted us $114 before tax and tip for a friday night in April 07

In October of 2005 they quoted me $99 for a Sunday afternoon with no alcohol. The guy was REALLY rude to me and to me, customer service is important, so that really was a big negative.

Re: Lombard's on the sound
I'm really sorry to hear all these negative comments...the only people I didn't enjoy dealing w/ were there receptionists because they always seemed like they kept you waiting just 'cause they could....everyone else we dealt with was great...I do have to say that we loved the lady that sold us on the place though when we booked in Nov '05 but never saw her again through all our planning...she must be the one who is gone...

Re: Lombard's on the sound
I went to look there and the woman I spoke to was so nice that I actually felt bad that I didn't choose the place. I went with someplace a little less out of the way.
